Ghost, I think for many of us who get to call this band their second family, means the world to me. I’ve met so many friends that I now call my second family from various states to different countries. I’ve met up with friends I’ve made in ghost groups online, I’ve made friends while in lines for rituals I’ve gone to and I have plans on meeting ghesties in Wales next year. You just never know where your next friend will appear in this lovely community. In this family, we support each other when exciting things happen and pick each other up when we’re down. We all understand what it’s like being misunderstood, to be picked on for our interest, feeling left out, not being included. Ghost has given me that feeling of being a part of something, of being included and being in something so beautiful and loving. July 21st I was in the pit at the Boston ritual and I made a sign saying, “thank you ghost for being a guiding light” and it got on the big screen twice and to say I was so thankful was an understatement. It doesn’t even begin to describe my love for this second family. I don’t care if I win or not, I just want to show my love, respect and appreciation to our incredible band.
