To the creative minds and spiritual guides of Ghost, I am writing to submit my husbands Masquerade entry, but also to express the incredible impact your music has had on our life. Your work is the soundtrack to the perseverance for our family. Through a grueling, five-year custody battle, the themes and power of your songs were the consistent force that helped us pull through every hard day and stay strong together as a family. This devotion runs deep: myself and my husband and our two sons, ages 6 and 11, are all very enthusiastic disciples. To celebrate this bond, we had a beautiful and memorable wedding in Las Vegas where our minister was even attired as Papa Emeritus IV. It was a perfect, unforgettable ceremony. We approach this musical practice and this entry into this contest with the same seriousness and reverence I feel for your artistry, and I truly believe his performance is worthy of the Papas' legacy.
