I’ve been a fan of Ghost since 2013, and I’ve attended every show they’ve ever played in Brazil. I even have tattoos dedicated to the band, and although I’ve recreated Copia’s makeup before, this is my very first full Papa cosplay. When Ghost last came to Brazil, I was going through a long and painful period of depression. Those concerts made me feel alive again — they reminded me why I’m still here. I felt genuinely grateful that I hadn’t given up, that I was alive to experience that moment. Those were the best days of my life, and I’m eagerly waiting for Ghost’s return to Brazil so I can create more beautiful memories with others who feel the same way I do. It’s my dream to one day travel to Europe to see Ghost perform there. This band has been the soundtrack to both my darkest and brightest days — and being part of this contest feels like a celebration of that journey.
